Participants will gain fundamental skills on throwing and altering vessels on the wheel. This course aims to address proper technique decoration aesthetics as well as effective studio habits for success.

This 7- week class will be taught by Deanna Estes-Culler, and is for anyone interested in learning how to create functional and/or fun objects from clay. Beginners will start with hand-building techniques, and may progress to the basics of wheel-throwing, if time allows. Experienced students will have more choice of creative methods to increase their existing skills. Necessary tools will be available. Information will be available for anyone interested in purchasing their own tools.
Please bring a personal hand-towel, a large butter-sized container with lid, and a notebook and pen to the 1st class.
The class fee is $95, and there is also a $20 Clay fee, both due at the 1st class by CASH OR CHECK ONLY.
Class size is limited to 10 students.

This 5-week course will likely be the student's first art class. It is designed to teach the basics of drawing, all while having fun drawing their favorite cartoon characters. $10.00 is due at the time of registration, and $50.00 is due to the instructor the first week of class.

Participants will explore the basics of paint with their little ones. This will include texture and feel of paint brushes as well as craft a fun and beautiful painting

This 5-week course is designed for beginners and those with minimal painting experience. Students will learn the basics of handling acrylic paints and brushes and explore various techniques and subject matter. The instructor will provide a list of suggested supplies first class, with students responsible for their painting canvas (no larger than 16" x 20"). $10.00 is due at the time of registration, and $50.00 is due to the instructor's first week of class.

Tired of all your plants dying? This one will never die on you! Learn how to crochet a cute cactus. All materials will be provided in class.

Participants, ages 18+, learn the basic principles of glass mosaics. This includes design, nipping glass, gluing techniques, color and tone, flow of glass elements, and grouting. Each participant will complete 2 pieces during the 8-week instructional period. All glass, supplies, and tools are provided in this class. However, if students want a particular texture or color of glass, they are encouraged to provide that for themselves. Locally, Hobby Lobby carries a wide variety of glass colors and textures. Participants may also order specific glass choices online.

Celebrate Pride and being you! Participants will paint a unique piece expressing them (with creative help if requested!). Canvas and paint will be provided!

Participants will construct pieces based off of garden concepts in mind. With their instructor guidance and with demos. Glazing within class will be provided. Wheel and hand techniques will be used.

Come learn the beginning skills for jewelry making and metalworking. Traditional bench techniques like sawing, hammering, and soldering. We will also learn to use kiln fired enamel and set it into a piece of jewelry.
All levels welcome. No experience needed. all tools and supplies included.

This is a home school pottery class. Students will complete projects given by instructor learning techniques for ceramics art and principles of design. Older students will have the opportunity to learn wheel throwing and all students will participate in hand building. Glazing will also be taught. Students will have the opportunity to participate in class critiques, practicing how to present their work and ideas, self-reflect on projects and their participation in the course, and how to give constructive criticism to both themselves and class mates.

Participants will be able to make a ceramic plate without the commitment of a whole length pottery class. We will be using basic hand building techniques for this class. Participants will choose their color of glaze before leaving for the instructor to glaze so the student will be able to pick everything up in the same day.

16 Week art program that will focus on mixed media art and creative writing. Free. Ages 12+

Refine your pottery skills in this 6-week intermediate course. You'll focus on throwing larger pieces, creating identical sets, crafting lids, refining trimming techniques, and adding handles. Each session blends instruction, demonstrations, and guided practice, offering a supportive environment to explore and expand your creative horizons.
